Now that Michelle McCool has the unified Women’s Title in WWE, I think the most important thing they can do is… get it off her as soon as possible. She’s a bland, plastic champion who couldn’t even win one of those traditional “gravy” matches they hold on Smackdown right around Thanksgiving.

And while Natalya isn’t much better, she at least would be a champ who doesn’t require the benefits of best diet pills for women. Not sure that can be said about McCool.

So yeah, tonight’s match could be interesting… so long as the night ends with a new, better Women’s Unified Champion.

The WWE is making the right decision in unifying the WWE Women’s Title with the WWE Divas Title, and this weekend’s PPV will have Michelle McCool facing off with Melina, with the lumberjills at ringside, to decide who will emerge victorious as the women’s unified champion.

For my money, I think it’s a no-brainer to put the title on Melina. McCool’s not so cool, and her constant rants about everything from how she’s better than Melina to weird mumblings about some acai scam are just not that engaging.

The WWE Diva Title has nowhere near the history of the WWE Women’s Title, but the brief, six-minute match between champ Michelle McCool was the first breather the audience received all night so far. There was no need for home theater furniture during this “get up and get fresh snacks” match.

Jim Ross and Tazz did what they could to inject some life into the match, but the crowd was shouting “boring” throughout, which made even the brief, six-minute format seem a bit long. On a night with so many terrific matches, this one was a genuine snooze-fest.
